You can import a portion of the form data as long as all required fields are filled. If you choose to enter additional amounts or edit amounts, you can do so after the import is complete.
Information Required to Import
- Payer or Employer information.
- Recipient or Employee information.
- At least one dollar amount.
Edit Forms After Importing
- Select the Forms button at the top of the screen.
- Select the desired Payer.
- Click Form List to the right of the payer name.
- Choose the Edit link to open the form and make changes.
You can also import forms and manually enter additional forms at any time.
Re-Import the Same Company Without Losing Existing Data
If the new import file contains recipient names and TINs that match forms that were previously imported into the Yearli site, the import process will recognize this. You will be prompted to choose to replace the existing form with the new form in the import file or to add a new form.
- If the option to replace the current form is chosen, the import will remove the originally imported form and create a new form with the new data in the import file.
- If the option to add a new form is chosen, the import will keep the originally imported form and add a second form using the new data in the import file.
