Can Two Yearli Accounts Be Combined?
Tax information and forms are tied directly to the email address a Yearli account is created under. Because of this, account and form information cannot be transferred to a new Yearli account nor can two Yearli accounts be combined.
Do I Need Multiple Accounts for Multiple Payers?
One Yearli account can be used to file for multiple payers. As you file forms, Yearli will save all payer and recipient information. With this method, you can enter as many payers or employers as needed in a single account.
Can Multiple People Be Logged in to One Core/Performance Account at the Same Time?
Multiple users can access the account simultaneously. In order to do this, all users would need to share the same log-in information (email, password, and MFA option). Please be aware of the following scenarios that may arise when multiple users are logged in at the same time.
- Duplicate form submission - Ensure that when completing the checkout process only the desired payer is in Submit Forms. All payers in the Submit Forms location will be processed during the checkout procedure.
- Data override - When editing/updating payer or recipient information, the saved changes will apply to any unsubmitted forms. This could cause issues if multiple users are editing the same data.
A Yearli Premier subscription allows an unlimited number of users (for an additional fee), each user has their own login information. Also offered in a Yearli Premier subscription is a Teams function where multiple users can be organized into separate Teams. How to Update Account Information
To update account information:
- Log in to Yearli.

Click on My Account.

Click on Edit Information under Account Information.
- Enter the new information.
- Click the Save button.
How to Renew My Yearli Performance or Premier Subscription
To renew your Performance or Premier subscription for the next filing season:
- Log in to Yearli.

Click on My Account.

Click on Edit Information under Account Information.
- Click the Renew Subscription button located in the Account Type box:
5. Follow the checkout prompt using a credit card for payment and your Yearli Performance or Premier subscription will be renewed.
How to Take Over a Yearli Account From Someone Else
Tax information and forms are tied directly to the email address the Yearli account was created under. Because of this, account and form information and e-filing history cannot be transferred to a new Yearli account nor can two Yearli accounts be combined.
However, a Yearli account Owner can be changed by replacing the primary email address the Yearli account was created under to a new one if you are able to log into the Yearli account using the original email address:
- Log in to Yearli with the original account information.

Click My Account.

Click Change Settings under Login Settings.
- Click the Update E-mail Address button.
- Enter the new email address in the New Email Address and Confirm Email Address fields.
- Click the Update Email button.
- This will log you out, and require that you log back in.
- The new email will be used to log in, but the password and MFA will be the same.
- After updating the email address, you can log in with the updated email address.
If the original email address and/or password for the account are not known, please Create a support ticket by clicking here. Yearli Technical Support can update the email address of the account after an account verification process has been completed.
How to Update an Account Password
- Log in to Yearli.

Click on My Account.

Select Change Settings under Login Settings.
- Select Update Password.
- Once the reset password email is received, click the link in the email to reset and update the account password.
- Enter a new password in the New password and Confirm password fields and click the Update Password button.
- New passwords cannot be any of the prior 10 passwords used on Yearli.

The site will update the account with the new password and prompt for a full login.
Update the Email Address on an Account
- Log in to Yearli.
- Click on My Account.
- Select Change Settings under Login Settings.
- Enter the new email address in the New Email Address and Confirm Email Address fields.
- Select Update Email.
- This will log you out, and require that you log back in.

The new email will be used to log in, but the password and MFA will be the same.
Update Multi-Factor Authentication
- Login to Yearli.
- Click on My Account.
- Click the Change Settings button under the Login Settings option.

Under the Multi-Factor section, click on Edit to edit the currently selected option or click Set Up to set up a different option.
Unable to Log In to Yearli
When attempting to log in to the Yearli website, please ensure you are using the email address associated with your account. Passwords are case sensitive and must be entered exactly as they were during account creation.
If you are unable to remember your log in information, you can reset your password via the website by using the Forgot Password option:
- Select the Log In button on the Yearli site.
- Enter the account email address and click Next.
- Select the Forgot your password? link.
- Verify the account email address is correct and click the Send Email button.
- Once the reset password email is received, click the link in the email to reset and update the account password.
For security reasons we are unable to supply account log in information by any other means.
Account Email Address is No Longer Valid
If the email address in the Yearli account is no longer valid, the Forgot Password option on the website will not work unless the old email address is temporarily reinstated so you can retrieve the Forgot Password email. If this is not possible and you do not need to access the old Yearli account in the future, then a new Yearli account can be created using a different email address; however, the data from the old account will not be available and cannot be migrated to the new account.
If secondary contact information was provided under Account Information in your Yearli account, this name and email can be used by support to recover the account and change the log in email to the one provided. Please contact Yearli Technical Support for assistance by clicking this link to create a support ticket.
If the original email address is no longer valid and cannot be reinstated and no Backup Account Access information was provided in your account, use the link above to create a support ticket and Yearli Technical Support can update the email address of the account after an account verification process has been completed. For security reasons, the account verification process is not immediate and may take several days to complete.
Email Address Already Exists in Yearli
An email address can only be used for one Yearli account, it cannot be used again as a Yearli Premier Account Owner or for an additional seat in a Yearli Premier account. If the following message is received when attempting to create a new Yearli account or add an additional seat to a Premier account, you will need to log into the old Yearli account using that email and replace it with another email address that is not needed for Yearli login.
