Checking Selected Services

By default, Yearli will select all services available for a batch of forms. You can choose not to include state filing or recipient print and mail. Federal filing cannot be de-selected for Core or Performance users, but can be de-selected for Premier subscribers.

Verify Services on Forms Not Yet Submitted

To check which services are currently selected for the forms in the cart:

  1. Log in to your Yearli account.
  2. Click the cart button.
  3. The services selected are identified below the payer name: Federal Filing, State Filing, and Recipient Delivery.

To check which services are selected for a batch in e-file:

  1. Log in to your Yearli account.
  2. Click the E-file button.
  3. Locate the batch and click "resume".
    • If the batch is in final review, the selected services will be listed on the left.
    • If the batch is on the work needed page, click "back" on the left to return to the filing selection page. Blue boxes are selected, white boxes are de-selected.
    • If the batch is on the filing recommendations page, the selected services will be blue with a white checkmark, and unselected services will have a white box.

Altering Selected Services on Forms Not Yet Submitted

Federal filing is standard in Yearli and cannot be removed in Core or Performance subscription packages, but Premier level subscribers can disable Federal filing. In Yearli, you have the ability to opt out of state filing as well as include or disable recipient print and mail services. (Note that in Yearli Core and Performance subscription packages, the per form filing fee will not be reduced if you opt out of the service on W-2 and 1099 forms.)  

To edit the service of forms in the cart (If the batch is in an e-file session, skip to step 5):

  1. Log in to your Yearli account.
  2. Click the cart button.
  3. Locate the batch you wish to change and click "remove".
  4. Choose the option to move the payer back to E-File.
  5. Click resume to open the batch.
  6. Click back on the left to return to filing recommendations.
    • If starting from the cart, this will be 2 clicks of the "back" button.
  7. Uncheck the services you do not want, or check the services you want.
    • If the box is blue, it is selected.
  8. Once selected, click "next".
  9. Click "next" again.
  10. Click "add to cart".

Verify Services on Previously Submitted Forms

To view the services on previously submitted forms:

  1. Log in to your Yearli account.
  2. Click on E-File History.
  3. Choose the tax year from the drop-down.
  4. Click "view Detail" next to the batch you wish to know about.
  5. The services selected for the forms will be displayed on the left side of the screen, and their completion progress will be displayed in the form of status bars.
    • If you do not see a status bar for the service, it was not selected for that batch.
    • If you need to add state filing, please see the Adding State E-Filing to Submitted Forms article.
    • If you need to add recipient mailings:
      1. Go to e-file history.
      2. Click "view detail" next to the batch you need.
      3. Click "Additional E-Filing Services".
      4. Select all recipients needed.
      5. Click "add to forms".
      6. Go to the "forms" page.
      7. Check the box next to the payer.
      8. Click "Start E-file" on the right.
      9. Walk through e-file with recipient reporting enabled, and submit.
