Yearli will update and display your statuses during the submission process. Dates will be included with all statuses.
To View the Status of Any Submitted Forms
- Login to Yearli.
- Click on E-file History.
- Click the View Detail link next to the batch that contains the forms you'd like to check the status of.
- The current status information will be displayed.
Federal Filing Status
| Federal E-file Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Order Confirmed | Filing has been received by Yearli and is currently being processed. |
| Sent to Agency | Filing has been sent to the government. |
| Accepted | Filing has been accepted by the government. |
| Correction Needed | Submitted forms contain recipient information that does not match IRS records. The filing has been accepted with errors, but corrections should be made where applicable. |
| Rejected | Filing has been rejected by the government. |
After successfully submitting your forms through our service, the forms are submitted to the IRS or SSA. Once confirmation has been received from the government, the status will reflect the appropriate status received from the IRS or SSA.
W-2 forms can take from two business days to several weeks to reflect a status change. The amount of time depends on the processing time of the SSA. 1099 forms typically take 2-3 business days to reflect a status change.
Recipient Mailings
| Recipient Mailing Status | Meaning |

| Order Confirmed | Filing has been received by Yearli. |
| Forms Posted | Yearli has e-mailed the recipient forms via online retrieval. |
| Mailings Sent | Yearli has mailed the recipient forms via USPS. (Once Recipient forms are mailed, USPS is responsible for delivery and any delays resulting from high mail volumes, weather conditions or other postal delays.) |
State Filing Status
| State E-file Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Order Confirmed | The filing has been received by Yearli. |
| Sent to Agency | Filing has been sent to the state. If mailed to the state, a tracking ID is included. |
| Completed | State has received the filing. This is the last status, unless the filing is rejected. If e-filed to the state, a confirmation ID is included. |
| Rejected | Filing has been rejected by the state. |
Statuses from the states do not display as accepted. The last status received from the state is Filing Completed, unless the filing is rejected. Be sure to check Yearli after filing to see if the filing was rejected.
